My injuries consist of

broken ankle

broken arm

dislocated elbow

broken thumb

dislocated my shoulder twice and had surgery

Believe it or not I'm in good shape and none of the injuries really have an effect on me now but will i still be able to enlist in the Marines?. or any military service for that matter? Is there any like set number of x rays or injuries that you can have in the past or does it all depend on your physical condition now?

  1. You can't enlist in the Marines if you have a paper cut. Anything but that! What if the paper cut gets infected? The Marines care about your safety, so if you get a paper cut, they will not want it to get infected. Having a severed head does not automatically disqualify you. You would have to take a few tests, and if you pass, you can join!

  2. If they are all healed and there are no symptoms like pain, weakness or loss of range of motion you should have no problems. But, you might want to check it out for yourself. The link below is to the medical standards. Go to Chapter Two and scroll down until you reach the paragraphs dealing with the extremities.

  3. as long as they didn't take anything out or put anything in you'll be fine

  4. its not the number of injuries sustained, which you could easily forget a few, so much as the severity of the injuries. If you still have any pins or bolts in your shoulder that would disqualify you or if you have sustained major head injuries, diabetes, heart attack, severed limbs etc. You should be ok. The marine corps. actually has the most lenient requirements.

  5. if you are a good lier and get the right sneaky recruiter you could have a freaking brain transplant and still get in
