  1. 1000 kbs in a megabyte, right? so 1000000 in a gb

  2. A Kiliabyte is 1024 bytes

    A Gigabyte is 1000 Kb or        1,024,000 bytes

    A Terabyte is 1000 Gb or  1,024,000,000 bytes.....

    Go Figure!

  3. If you're going by marketing standards (ie advertisers), then 1000000 KB = 1 GB.

    However, if you're going by base 2 notation (as with technology engineers, then 1048576 KB = 1 GB. Note that sometimes in this notation, it is referred to Kibibytes (KiB) and Gibibytes (GiB)

  4. 8bit = 1 byte

    1024 byte = 1kb

    1024kb = 1mb

    1024mb = 1gig

    1024 gig = 1tr

    tr = terabyte

    1024 is the ryt size not the 1000
