How many kids do you want to have and what genders?

I would like to have a boy,a girl then another boy and then twin girls

My fiance and I want a boy and a girl when we have kids, but so far we have a boy name and a backup boy name in mind and no girl names. I definately want a boy because Kyle wants to name a son after his best friend who passed far too early.

You do realize that what you "want" and what you "get" won't necessarily match...especially what you stated you want. The odds that you would get that are very, very, very slim. lol

That being said - I always thought my ideal would be a boy, then a girl, then done. Now I am 9 months pregnant with baby girl #2 and I couldn't be happier about it. There may or may not be a baby #3 in the future, and it would be great if it was a boy - but a 3rd girl would not make me sad either :-)

It is fun to imagine what your ideal is, but please keep things in perspective by remembering that there are thousands of couples dealing with infertility, and they would give anything just to get a child, boy OR girl.

My husband and I would like to have at least five children. (We have two sons now age 2 years and 2 months.) We don't care how many boys or how many girls. It would be nice to have a girl in there somewhere but we honestly don't mind either way. We know that children are a gift and not an entitlement.

Well considering we have zero choice, I don't mind what I have. So far I have 3 sons and my husband and I are hoping to have one more child in a year or 2. I don't mind whether it's a boy or girl-I know what i'm doing with boys so it'd be less scary but a girl would make a nice change lol!
