How many kinged peices is it possible to get in a standard game of checkers?

it is not possible to get kinged with out capturing a few peices

there is no limit on the number of kings, but the number of kings you have isnt the key to winning anyway (if that was the intent of your question). as far as the second part of your question, capturing and being captured is inevitable, the point is to capture more pieces than you lose. forcing your opponent into jumping one of your pieces enabling you to double jump him is the biggest key to winning the game.
