  1. Assuming normal rider weight and normal operation, the mileage will vary between 45-50 miles per gallon.  To convert to km/l we'll take 45 times 1.6 to give us 72 km per gallon, then divide 72 by 3.8 to find that your average should be 18.9 km per litre.

If you're getting 13 km per litre, then you've got something wrong because you should be getting closer to 19.  If you're riding hard and fast, or over-revving the engine, then you can expect to get about 13.

I read a post from a guy that drilled some holes in the plate on the back of his exhaust and improved his mileage from 45 to 50 miles per gallon (19 kpl to 21 kpl).

    Hope this helps...

  2. well when i go jogging i can useally jog about 2km non stop untill i need to drink about another litre of water.  thats 19,200 litres of water if i was to run around the equator.

  3. Sorry my slide rule is broken at the moment. How about start us off with  mpg and we might take it from there. BTW 13 doesn't sound to bad.
