I can only think of one and that is Wakefield. Are there others? I love watching knuckleball pitchers because almost every pitch they throw is unpredictable. It is so fun to watch. It is almost like a science. A very inexact science. And that is what makes it so exciting. I wish there were more knuckleball pitchers.

  1. there are guys that come up who have knuckleballs, but they didnt experience the same success wakefield did and they quickly went right back down.

you have to be legit at throwing knucklers to make it to the pros. you go watch some high school kids warming up and youll almost always see some messing around with a knuckle ball trying to throw it, so its not like no one throws the knuckle its just no one is really good enough to fool major league hitters. even wakefield, i mean he hasnt experienced the greatest success as a pitcher but hes still in the majors so thats good.

  2. Wakefield and Dickey are pretty much It right now. Knucklers have never been a widespread breed.

The Red Sox have another knuckler at AAA, Charlie Zink.

  3. R.A. Dickey for Seattle also throws the knuckleball.

Charlie Haeger, who pitched in the majors in '06 and '07, is in the White Sox minor league organization.
