How many ladies get there nails done at the salon?

I usually go to the salon when I need a pedi and I'll get both my nails and toes done.  Or if I want to do something with my girls or it's a special occasion.  It's not a necessity that I go.  I don't mind painting them myself.

i do every once in awhile..esp if we have a ball or dining out and i need to look somewhat polished lol...my husband really doesn't like long nails so for the most part i stick to my short stubby nails

i used to get acrylics done at the salon but it got to expensive so i just go natural now! :)

Not me, I'm just skeptical of their equipments and it just gross me out to think that I could get some kind of infection from their tools. I do my own nails or sometimes get my friends to do it for me.

I do from time to time. But especially if I have a special occasion or event to attend.

Last time I got my nails done at a salon was 3 years ago for my cousins party! I would rather get a pedicure, just because to me its hard to do things when getting my nails done. Then one of them breaks, and your stuck with the other 9. Or then when you take them off it hurts too much!

I haven't ever went, I like my nails short and i do them myself. I have tried the fake nails and i just cant function with them on...you have to pick things up sideways... fake nails get in the way...just try to wipe your butt lol.

I get mine done usually every two weeks. I have had acrylic nails for about 6 years and I love them!

I can believe people still get fake nails... well kept natural nails, whether long or short, look so much better.

Use to once a week nails & toes then I had kids! Avon sells really good nail stuff to do your nails at home! Now my daughters do my nails & toes!

Never.  I'd much rather spend that $30.00 on my kids than some nails that are going to need done again in two weeks.  Waste of time and money.

I go about every two weeks.  I get a basic mani/pedi, but I use to have tips/silks and all that stuff.

It's about $15 for a mani itself, which is cheap and a nice way to pamper yourself.

have never had it done 'professionally'.  My nails are gorgeous.  When you go to a salon, your real nails will be ruined for quite a while if you ever have the fake ones removed.

Not I….it’s not in my budget. And even if it was, they chip and crack after a week…..I have a son and much better ways to spend our money.

Not me. I can think of MANY different ways to spend to spend my money other then getting my nails done. Too much to upkeep them after that anyway.

My wife goes every Friday to get hers done. She's a pretty athletic chic, so she's always playing sports and breaking them, so real nails aren't very suited for her lifestyle at the moment. Plus she does it because she knows I like her looking good!

Every once in a while i will, but i learned to do the french tips for my toes by myself

I only get them painted with cute little designs and stuff but they are always MY nails.
