How many languages specked in India?please list out......'?

I totally agree with your previous answer  and it is indeed over 1000 languages spoken in india , and It would be very difficult to list each and every one of them, The people who could list them want be found wasting time on yahoo answers, besides the leading language of hindi, I have learned that in some of poorer areas they may only speak their local language , and no hindi, or anyother leading language. every area seems to have their local language , I have also learned that in many of these areas apart from their local language many can also speak english,  but can not read nor speak hindi, then some can speak hindi but not read it and vise versa, way to many and to difficult for me to understand, and learn ,  Good luck hope this little bit of info is helpful..

There are more than 1000 languages, apart from recognised languages as per our constitution and its dialects. Some languages like Hindi Telugu Tamil and Kannada have couple of lakhs each speaking it, some are being spoken by hardly 100-200 people, It is very difficult to list.

according to indian government only 52 languages are recognised.

but we have  a couple of  hundreds of languages in india.
