  1. we run the mile which is 4 laps around a football field and then we run around our school 2 times and then we do several stairs throughout the practice... not that much fun :(

  2. u dont run in volleyball

  3. best thing is tell your coach.. i have asthma too, and i felt the same why.. but if you love playing that shouldnt stop you...

and it does bulid up, you have to get your body use to running. so take it slow. one lap... then when your asthma comes up rest. and sooner or later, your body wil be use to it., and your asthma wont act up as much..

jus keep it uP! coaches understand..

  4. tell your coach before practice, just save ur energy and jog.

  5. at my practices, we run about 5 or 6 laps around the volleyball court.

if you have asthma just tell your coach, he/she will understand.

  6. just let your coach know your situation, and he should understand. If your good at volleyball and not running, you should be ok.  If your coach doesn't care, talk to your parents or someone you trust about it, because they can always help!

  7. we run two laps before practice every day

for conditioning we either do stairs, suicides, or a town loop run (about 1.5 miles).  We've also played this 'game' where we jog around the track in a single file line and the person at the end of the line has to sprint all the way to the front of the line.  when she gets to the front the new person who is last in line does the same thing.  that usually goes for about 3/4 of a mile.

if you have asthma, just make sure your coach knows its serious and that you need to stop and breathe.. if you're just out of shape, just push through the pain.  you'll get into a rhythm after about half an mile and it will get easier from there, i promise.

    hope this helps
