  1. 32 in a 50m pool

    66 in a 25yrd pool

    64 in a 25m pool

  2. 25 yards pool=66 laps

    50 meter pool=33

    :)

  3. You'll be swimming widths of the pool? Ugh -- you have my sympathy.

Pools in the US are usually 25 yards long, but the width is not standard. If the pool is 6 lanes wide, it is probably 42 - 50 feet wide. An 8 lane pool is probably about 56 - 65 feet wide. That means you'll need to swim about 118 widths of 6 lane pool or 88 widths of an 8 lane pool to cover a mile.

BTW -- Ignore the answers that say "66." The competitive swimming event sometimes called "the mile" is 66 lengths, but is only 1650 yards long. A mile is 1760 yards. Therefore a mile is a little over 70 lengths of a 25 yard pool.

  4. in a 25 yard pool 66 lengths

  5. Since you are swimming widths, this would depend on how many lanes there are.   Find out the width of the pool.  A "swim mile" is considered 1650 yds.  To be exact, a mile is 5280 ft.  A yard is 3 feet.  A true mile is therefore 1760 yds.  Find out how many feet the width is and do the math from there.
