How many laptops can I bring with me when boarding an airplane?

Is it possible to bring 2 laptops?

Why do you need more than one? That's crazy. But yeah, as long as you can squeeze them both into one bag you'll be fine.

I have frequently brought two laptops with me as carry on luggage.  I put both of them in the same bag - no problem.

I think they'd want to know why you needed more than one. Unfortunately due to terrorists, things have changed.
