How many laptops can i take back to india?

I am going to India in a few days. I live in the USA. Can I carry 2 laptops with me? 1 mine and another for family?

          yes u can take 2 ... my dad just went to india 10 days ago and took 2 laptops with him in his hand luggage.. he dint have a problem at all ...  so no worries!!! Trips to India are always exciting !!! have a safe trip!!!

sure i work in the airport and i know you can take as many you want because is your personal belongins and dont forget to take a adaptor  and a trasformer because you never know if you going to needed .

In both the laptops keep some programs and some files on the desktop. So when the customs people ask, just tell them one is for personal and the other is for business.
