How many leaves does the average mature oak tree shed each fall?

  2. I would agree that most of the leaves will fall.  But if you're looking for a number, perhaps in terms of bags of leaves?(lol) good luck!  But seriously, it would also depend on whether the tree has been pruned in previous years, regardless if it's a mature tree.  

  3.   Red Oak or White Oak, there is a difference.  But in any case, almost all of them will be shed, not all, but most, as there are always some that hang on throughout the winter.
