  1. Depends on how stupid you are.

  2. that depends on how good you are and how quick you learn-there is no definate amount its up to the individual person-my friend has taken over 300 lessons and failed 3 times before managing to pass-i guss i learn quicker as i had 4 lessons then passed first time-it doesnt matter as long as you get there in the end

PS ill add that you dont need to take any lessons at all before doing the test

  3. Ok, a little bit of fals info above. The Driving Standards Agency do not recommend any particular amount of hours.

What they do say is that "Those who pass their driving test have had, on average, about 45 hours of professional training combined with 22 hours of private practice."

I am an instructor in Coventry, and I get this question every time i have a new pupil. Like other people have posted, it does depend entirely on the individual - there is no minimum amount of hours (at the moment....watch this space though!!) that you must spend behind the wheel with an instructor.

What i would suggest is you take at least a few lessons with a FULLY QUALIFIED instructor - they will have a green octagonal badge displayed in their windscreen - if they don't - don't even get in the car with them!!!! They will be able to give you their opinion as to how long (roughly) it will be before you will be looking at taking your test.

    Hope this helps :)

  4. HELLO

THERE IS NO FIXED NUMBER OR TIME

IF YOU TAKE DRIVING LESSONS THEN THE INSTRUCTOR WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN HE/SHE THINKS YOU ARE READY

DEPENDS WHERE YOU LIVE HOW LONG YOU THEN HAVE TO WAIT FOR A TEST

  5. depends on how quickly you learn ,but the DSA recomend about 52 hours with a proffesional instructor and plenty of private practice ,hope this helps you

  6. You can sit your test without taking any lessons, it depends how good you think you are.  I took six & passed first time, but that was many years ago.  Things are more stringent nowadays.  Good luck & happy motoring.
