about 20 years ago, I was up over 2000 licks and almost there, but then I lost count. my girlfriend lost her count after 1756- haha, I won and she had to supply me with tootsie pops for a month.

well out of my experience, you don't l**k a tootsie roll...you chew it. however, you do l**k a tootsie pop! and that takes about 250-300 licks.
