I ask the same of Obama and his writer.

For example, Obama says McCain thinks $5 million is middle class. The real truth is McCain wouldn't define what he thought middle class was and when pressed in the Saddleback forum, he make a joke out of it and said $5 million. He stated right after, that this would get distorted from joke to fact.

Well guess what, Obama not only uses it in his speech, but in all of his TV ads as well.
