  1. Moles Fe = 19 g / 55.847 g/mol = 0.34

    the ratio between Fe and HCl is 1 : 2

    Moles HCl = 2 x 0.34 = 0.68

    V = moles / M = 0.68 mol / 1 M = 0.68 L

  2. 2 moles of HCl will be needed for each mole of Fe

    19 g Fe / 55.8 g Fe = 0.34 moles Fe

    0.33 * 2 = 0.68 moles of HCl

    0.68 moles =x liters HCl * 1.06 mole HCl / 1liter HCl

    Solving you get x = 0.69 l
