i dont own now but have owned in the past:-

max factor masterpiece - average

max factor masterpiece max  - average

maybelline great lash - awful

rimmel extra super lash - good

maybelline define a lash - better than average

y.s.l - not bad

and maybe some others but my memory only goes back so far hehehe

Next i wanna try is Rimmel lash maxx!!!!

CoverGirl Define - A - Lash.

I only own one which i replace every month.

Since my eyelashes are thick all i need to do is seperate them a bit.

I also recently purchased the clear one, for your lashes and brow.

It works wonders when I use it as a base coat for the Define - A - Lash.

i would recrememed  Estee Lauder- Projectionist high definition, black

l OREAL MAINLY AND MAX FACTOR.....

BROWN AND NEARLY BLACK AND BLACK.

I keep them in various places like handbag, car, drawer, work drawer etc .... I believe they ahve a shelf life and that you can and should clean the brushes.
