Mustafa Abi, you are right unfortunately...There is a confusion concerning the word " athlete"...It means "track and fiels sportsman/sportswoman", but in the Yahoo Olympic Games page it also mean " sportsman" in general...

We don't have real athletes in tracks and fields, that's sad, indeed...

Athletes? Does Turkey have so many athletes? or just wrestlers, weightlifters etc.

how many Turks are running, jumping, throwing, swimming?? None!

Let me tell you, if ever Turkey gets to organize the Olympics, the stadiums will be filled with foreigners, not with Turks. Because Turkish people are only interested in football, basketball and wrestling. They do not know much about track and field events.
