How many mega bites in one mega gig?

there is no such thing as a mega gig. Its Mega Byte and Giga Byte.

Now, as the person before me has almost said,

1 Gigabyte = 1024 Megabytes...
similarly,
1 Terabyte = 1024 Gigabytes...
and
1 Megabyte = 1024 Kilobytes!
