How many megapixels are in this camcorder? need to know please?

hi i need to know how many megapixels are in this camcorder, to see if it takes good quality pictures i am confused as it doesnt say just says

megapixels is an irrelevant term when it comes to video cameras.

a digital stills camera measures things in megapixels where as video cams measure in resolution, in this case 640 x 480.

this is a fairly low standard nowadays - everything is now hi-definition meaning 1440 x 720 or 1920 x 1080.

if you can save a bit you will be better off with hi-def.
