  1. 4.2 mp

  2. The reason you're not seeing the megapixels listed is because video camera quality is not compared by looking at the megapixels in the same way that you would compare still cameras.  High quality video is produced instead by shooting frames quickly enough to make the motion full and fluid, and with the right height to width ratio to display on whatever device you will want to play the video on.  The SDR-SW20 has a lot going for it.  It's incredibly small, waterproof down to about 5 feet underwater, has 10x zoom, has a good quality lens, comes with a 4GB memory card.  The video mode it uses is compatible with most replay devices, and its frame size is suitable for replay on a 16:9 ratio computer or HD television screen.  The only criticism of this camera is that you're paying extra for a camera that can operate in harsh environments including underwater, but getting a camera that can only go 5 feet underwater rather than to the maximum depth most SCUBA divers would go.  If you understand that, though, and it meets the needs you intend to use it for, it is getting good feedback.  A camera that could go deeper underwater would cost much more and is likely to be available in only a professional model rather than an consumer model.
