  4. I think theres 25 member states and about 25 languages. Some countries speak the same language such as belgium, France and switzerland(switzerland not an EU member) speak french. UK and Ireland speak english. Germany and austria speak german. There are also regional languages such as catalan (spain) and gaelic(ireland) flemish (belgium). List of main languages; spanish, portugese, french, italian, german, english, polish, swedish, danish, greek.
