From now on until August 12 and a few days after. What will be the average meteor per hour count at about 10:00 P.M. I cant wait up until 2:00 PM when they peak, because I get to sleepy and my mom yells at me to get to bed, and I cant get up that early.

  1. 60 per hour or one a minute. This is an estimate though and some sources I've read are predicting up to 100 per hour.

One thing for sure, the farther you get away from city lights, the more you will see.http://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing...

This is the calendar site for the meteor showers for 2008 from the International Meteor Organization. Everything you ever wanted to know about meteor showers is on this site. Enjoy!

  3. This depends on the darkness of your sky, and it also varies by year. Some years produce as many as 100 or more an hour; other years less than 30. If you are lucky, and your sky is well darkened, you might get 40 to 60 an hour. Maybe more. But as always, YMMV.
