How many meters is the average sidewalk block?

the perimeter I mean all the way around. I just wanted to know because I'm training for athletics and i need to learn how to run a mile in 7 min. and i wanted to know how many meters it is if I run around my block.

i would suggest you find a track or go to a gym/recreational center where you can time yourself there every so often on an exact distance. Then just run at a fast pace for over 7 minutes to train.

mine all the way around is almost half a mile, ur best bet is use google earth and path ur trails u run or go to a track
