  1. well it depends what shape ur in and what ur riding but i used to race mountain bikes and i trained on rode bikes the most i rode was 80 miles but my dad used to ride a hundered miles....u can keep a steady pace beetween 15-20 mph but after u r completly drained

  2. Depends on the conditioning of the rider.  Some people commute to work everyday 20 plus miles.  During some time off I rode every day 40 miles at 18mph average for 30 days straight.  I think that any one who gets used to riding could probably ride 10 to 20 miles a day at 10 to 15mph with little problem.  It might be too much for somebody to start out with but it is a easily attainable goal.

  4. The most I've done in one day was 220 miles. It was during a 12 hour race. I did about 206 for the race, the had to ride another 14 miles back to where the truck was parked.  There have been many riders that have completed over 400 miles in 24 hours.
