  1. alot

  2. It depends on what speed you're going at. But I'd assume maybe 10-12 miles if you're going at a leisurely pace.

  3. here is the calculation, 1 pound equals 3000 calories.

if you bike at a moderate pace say 12 mph you burn 400 calories and hour

    15 mph 600 calories, 18-20mph 800-1000 calories

but this is based on fat calories,  if you bike 2-3 hours moderately you will loose the 1 pound, but half of that is water and it will come back again

  4. If you ride for 30 minutes a day, you should lose at least 1lb per week =)   But, it would also help to look up a healthy diet, and don't starve yourself, that will only make you regain any weight you may lose.  Something high in protein would be good, like chicken and pasta.   Try this link

  5. it doesnt matter how far you go,it is how often you ride it.the more often you ride it,you may lose weight easily.if you want to lose weight juz by going far,try going from one place to another.

i have been cycling everyday to and from school everyday.and it kept me fit.thus preventing me from getting me fat.it is also a healthy life style.ive been doing tis for 4 years now.
