well, if you are talking a push mower, then it depends on how fast you push it... a tractor on the other hand, probably not good since they are built to be slow, also, where would you be driving a lawn tractor where you'd want the best fuel economy?

Miles?  it's not applicable, How would you measure it?  There's no speedo or odo.  Maybe you mean lawns per tank, like 3 medium or 2 large ones.. One tank holds about a quart.
