  1. Ibuprofen exhibits something of a plateau effect. Anything over 10 mg/kg body weight does not generally offer any extra benefit for the extra dosage, so you can consider the excess to be an overdose. Toxicity does not automatically appear at some magic number, but the more you take, the more likely it is to cause problems. Your friend is one of those who think more is always better. One of these days he may get an education. As Will Rogers pointed out, there are three kinds of men: the one who learns by reading, the few who learn by observation, the rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.

  2. Depends on you and your friends body weight on how much will kill you.

. Toxic effects are unlikely at doses below 100 mg/kg but can be severe above 400 mg/kg;[22] however, large doses do not indicate that the clinical course is likely to be lethal.[2

Found that on wikipedia not sure what it means or if its right so I wouldnt go anywhere near that lol.

  3. A normal dose is two tablets.   That is 400 mg.    800 is for unusual situations, not a normal headache,  large muscle or neck pain for instance.    3000 mg is way too much, and can cause some liver or kidney damage.
