  1. Just take what the Dr prescribed.  Period!

  2. It could have caused death... Perpahs she was using it prior so her body built up an immunity. If she is trying to end her life, you should report it to the police and get her help.

  3. if diazapam is like lorazapam then40 pills=only200mgs when you  are anxious at hospital theyll give you like 30 mgs to keep you calm.  200mgs at once is alot but it depends on persons weight health etc as far as if it coiuld or should have killed you well diazapam  is not a toxic substance by nature just a relaxant so it is not suprising it induced sleep for a long period of time. your friend was trying to die righ???  this wont do it .

  4. if this friend slept 3 days straight that should be alarming enough get that person some help especially if it was intentional

  5. Depending on body weight and some other factors, it actually takes a good bit more than a full bottle of valium to kill an adult or teenager.  I actually can't find a number off hand ;-p  But I did snag this tidbit... maximum recommended human dose is 5mg per kg... for a 90lb female that's about the dose your friend took.  So, no, this should not have caused death or major long term side effects either... Coma is cited as 'rare' and death as 'very rare' on FDA approved literature for overdose... http://www.rocheusa.com/products/valium/...
