How many minutes/hours a day should i walk?

i usually walk my niece twice a day (in her stroller) for about 15 minutes each, should i do more?

  1. walking is very low impact and low cardio... for it to be effective u need alot of it.. and u should try and make it a brisk walk......

    i would go 30 mins a piece twice per day..

    and maybe try jogging for half the week, then the other half u can walk... if u jog u only need 20 - 30 mins..

  4. If you're not seeing the results you want you need to up your pace. 30 minutes a day in minimal, and you can definitely break it up in either two 15 minute increments (like you have done), or 3- 10 minute increments, based on need and ability.

    Basically, 30 minutes is fine, if that's all you have time for. Start moving faster and you will get a better workout.
