  1. Get a can of Easy-Off and spray it in the oven and leave it on for over

night and in the morning wipe clean.

  2. Your best bet is to look it up in the manual. It will be hours, not minutes. Too short a time and it won't get clean. Too long and you are paying for wasted electricity and won't be able to use your oven while it is cleaning.

If you don't have a copy of the manual you can probably find a copy online. Check the manufacturer's website.

If you can't get a copy that way, ask at your local library how to find a copy. The reference librarians are amazing at what they can dig up.

  3. I usually do about 2 or 2.5 hours.  Take out the oven racks before you start.  The high heat will take off all the finish on the racks, leaving them dull and difficult to pull out.  The oven gets very very hot when it's cleaning, like 700 degrees.  I stay home when I have the oven cleaning, just in case something happens.  I also make sure there is nothing around the oven or stove top, like the day's mail or papers or a dishtowel.

  4. i let mine work for 4 hours, and make sure you take out the racks.
