  1. I am pretty sure the most points you can lose is something like 11.  I don't really remember correctly, I took mine 3 years ago.  You also aren't allowed to hit ANYthing at all, obviously.

It also depends on the person giving you the test.  During mine, I was doing really well until I was pulling into the parking lot at the end and went up the curb.  The lady said that she was gonna pretend like it didn't happen since I did well on all the rest.  So just hope you get someone that is really nice! :)

  2. It pretty much depends on the examiner...Each has their own areas of emphasis plus how each is feeling at any particular moment...The other factors are the condition and appearance of the vehicle and the perceived ability of the applicant...I have passed drivers for several small errors because I thought they had a good command of the rules, road signs and of the vehicle...I have failed others simply because, even with a little error, they could not convince me that we were not going to be involved in a mishap.

Bottom line - have a clean vehicle with all the essentials working; be confident and competent...Result - PASS!

  3. Why not try to make no mistakes, instead of asking how many you can get away with?

  5. If you wreck and kill the tester, i'd say one would do it.

  6. three mistakes
