How many mom's cut their own hair and their children's?

I just cut mine for the first time tonight and it looks FANTASTIC!!! I didn't have to waste $30 either! It was so easy. I also cut my daughter's hair. Anyone on here have no schooling and does it for their family?

I cut my own hair and my husbands.

We're young, so its pretty easy to do the choppy straight thing, there are special scissors that you use on the ends to add volume and easier layers.

I cut my sons hair and my sister and aunt are hair dressers. I never pay a penny to do my own.

There is no way I would cut my own hair!! I'm not that talented, but I do cut my boys hair (ages 2 and 4). I also cut my husbands hair and my brothers hair. I do like the convenience of not having to make an appointment and you cant beat the price!!!

I do cut my daughter's hair (she is 2 and half). I get my hair cut done at a beauty college my friend works at. It only costs $8 (including a $4 tip since I know her) and I dye my hair at home with a box kit (Revlon - $3 from wal-mart). No to brag but I get compliaments on my hair all the time too. hehe  And as for my daughter, she will only sit still for me and my sister anyway!

My boys won't let anyone but me cut their hair so I cut their hair then my mom cuts mine and I cut hers lol it has saved us a lot of money and when you are on a budget that money really matters.

I always cut my hair.  It is long so it would be hard for me to make a mistake.  My husband highlights or colors it for me though.  People always say that my hair looks so healthy.  I cut my daughter's hair also.  Everyone always comments on how cute her hair looks so I must be doing an ok job.  If you can save money by doing it yourself, why not.  I like the fact that you can cut your hair at your convenience also-like when the kids go to bed.
