  1. It depends entirely on how well that particular cruise is selling.  The cruise lines employ very sophisticated "yield management" systems, that track sales and project future sales.  If a cruise is behind the curve, they will lower the price until it catches up.  If it is selling ahead of the curve, they will raise the price until is slows.

It is impossible to predict with any certainty where the price of a cruise will be tomorrow.  Your  best bet is to book as early as possible, thru a good travel agent.  That will lock in today's price, so it can't go UP.  And a good agent will track that cruise for you, and should the price drop, he will let you know, and get you the lower prices.

And, by the way vacations to go doesn't have any better prices than anyone else.  I have checked, and I can meet any price they are showing.

  2. If you think that is it gets closer to the cruise that the price rises, that's not how it works. As you get closer and closer to the cruise the price will decrease if there are still unsold cabins. If you go to vacationstogo.com you will see a button that says 90 day tickers and what that means is the website found awesome last minute (month-month and a half) deals which they are giving to you for a really great price. what the cruise lines do is when it's getting closer and closer to the cruise and the cruise has unsold rooms, they want to get rid of them, so they give them out for realy good prices. This is really good if you want to cruise and have no problem doing it last minute(1-3 weeks), because you get amazing deals. Also if you cruise during the off season(when kids are back in school), you get really great deals as well.

If you mean that you don't want to book a cruise, but not wait too long for the price to go up, that probably will not happen, for the reasons I said above about booking last minute.  If you do wait until the last minute you're risking not having a cabin available for the cruise you're looking for. For instance, I'm going on the Norwegian Spirit at the end of this month. The cruise was booked in October for $849 for an inside cabin. It is a 8 night cruise, and since I booked it so early in advance, it was a decent price. Now since the price was so good for an inside cabin, all of them have been sold. Same with the oceanview cabins and balcony ones. they have also been sold out. If you look at this link, you'll see that the suites have not all been sold out. vacationstogo.com has lowered the price so that people will buy the suites because they want the whole cruise filled up as much as possible.

The inside, oceanviews, and balcony cabins have been sold out for quite some time now, i would say since the end of may there have been none available.Hope that gives you an idea at how many months a specific cruise almost sells.

    hope this helps =/ ?
