  1. Usually it's 3-4 months.


  2. It depends on the finance company's policies.  Call them and see if you can work out a payment program.  They'd much rather give you some options to pay than have to pay someone to repo the car and liquidate it.

  3. I think most companies wait at least 3 months, they would rather have the money.

  4. as soon as the due date is passed and your payment has not been received, you are considered delinquent.  at that point, most lenders will report you as such.  some may wait a few days.

  5. Contact whoever you make payments to either by phone or letter. Most will go two months before starting repo action.

  6. 3 months and a couple days, you get a letter in the mail 10 days before they intend to reposes
