most tourist visa's are anywhere from 30 - 90 days. If you are from canad check voyage.gc.ca and you can find the info. if you are from anywhere else just check the federal consulate site.

Tourist Visa for Dubai valid only 30 days and can be extended for another 30 days by paying a nominal charge.

(To be arranged in advance)

Transit Visa valid For 14 days - Not possible to renew the same. (Can be available on arrival at Dubai Airport.... but still available only for few nationalities)

Both Visas costs AED 100

Visit Visas available in three types (One Month, Three Months & 6 Months), and respectively 500AED, 1000AED, & 2000AED of initial charges and can be renewed for 2 more months, 3 months respectively for the first two types.
