How many more hurricanes are expected in the 2008 season?

I was just wondering how many more hurricanes are predicted to hit this season, and how strong they will be, Thank you!!

15 storms, 8 hurricanes, and 4 major hurricanes, according to NOAA.

But like with weather forecasting this is often wrong.

They always predict a bunch of hurricanes.  It doesn't mean anything though, that's just the hurricane center trying to justify getting funding and the news stations scaring you into watching their broadcasts.  If we concern ourselves only with the storms that are coming or here, maybe the media will stop sensationalizing everything and start telling us the truth... :)  By the way - I think that the estimate this year for landfalling hurricanes was 7 - we haven't had any...
