  1. 3 more years. He's got to play the Flyers 8 times a year. Maybe fewer than 8 with the schedule change.

  2. That's impossible to say. Players can get freak injuries and have their career ended. Or, they get one too many concussions like Lindros and Forsberg and are one crack away from being an omelette.

Or, get a big fattie check from Russia and take off like Jagr.

Who knows? The average player lasts ~ 7-10 seasons.

  3. about 15-20 he will be an all star just watch. as long as he is injury free.

  4. I would say 10-12. Hes young and can last awhile but he will be on the ice a lot because he is a great player. But being on the ice so much he will be likely to suffer at least 1 major injury.

  5. till hes 300

  6. his body will never be able to take the punishment of 15+ years in the NHL.  sid fans should get used to shortened seasons.  the man has the eric lindros disease: highly talented but with a small, easily torn squirrel body.

  7. Lol, I just got the image of Crosby playing in the NHL at age 60. That would be interesting to watch.

  8. Im a huge Sidney Crosby fan. I'll give hive 15-20 years of hockey. he'll be in the Hallf of Fame sometime. Him and Ovechkin. I like both of them. Their great hockey players.

  9. it will be a while before hes out of the nhl but im sure he'll stop being as big of an impact pretty soon

  10. For me its to early to tell. He seems like he can take hits and not get hurt he dosent seem injury proin to me. I will take a guess and say 10-12 more years.

  11. Until he's like 38.  So about 15 - 20 years, unless he's injured.  I don't think he's going to start being horrible anytime soon.

  12. tgnut, 72 some points in 53 games this season? Are you stupid? Those are amazing numbers. An average player gets about 25 in as many games...

Crosby will be around for probably 15-17 more years. That gives him 18 to 20 years in the league, which is about right for a player of his caliber.

  13. i say until he's 39, cause he is great, and so determined! as long as he stays healthy, but even if he gets injuried, he'll bounce back!

  14. Well, as much as I hate Crosby, because I personally believe he is nothing more than a media induced all-star used by the NHL because he can speak clearer english than Ovechkin who has superior talent, I hope he does nothing. However, I think he is maybe  an average/ SLIGHTLY better than average player that is drunk on the biased media coverage that saturates him. He could do things, but he is not all the media jacks him up to be. I think he will be just OK. I also think he will burn out trying to be something he is not.

  15. I think he will play about 10 more years only because I feel as though he is injury prone. Otherwise I can see him playing until he is 40 or so just like Chelios. Hope he lasts that long, he is a great player to watch.
