How many moves until stalemate? And what is on the board afterwards?

I believe you are talking about two different kinds of draws in chess.

-1- the fifty move rule

      no pawn move or captures for 50moves and its a draw

-2- draw by insufficient force

      ie. not enough material to checkmate (also no pawns    because they could be promoted) (some examples = K+N vs K and K+B vs K)
