Minimum  2 mega pixel camera in mobile is good enough to capture video & pictures in day as well as night with good clarity. But, the camera should be equipped with flash which covers upto 2 to 4 metres range.

a 3 megapixel mobile camera would be good enough to capture nice video quality and good pictures..if you want to take pictures at night i advise you to get a camera phone with flash like the sony ericsson k850i, k800i or k810i. they're all good quality camera phones. if you want something basic go for a 2 megapixel camera the quality will be ok but the video quality not soo good. if you want to spend some money go for the k850i, it has excellent video quality and really really good quality pictures.. i have one myself and they are pretty good phones

a 3.2 megapixel camera mobile would be good enough to capture images and videos. 3.2 mp mobile camera has a nice quality images and videos. my advise for nokia n73. it is the best.
