maybe you should quote in the quranic verse to prove that it is a folklore coz there is no single word in the Quran that anything written is a folklore.  There is no basis to your statement if you yourself are not clear of what you want to say

I'm not a Muslim, in fact I am an atheist, but I recognise the importance of story, family, and passing knowledge from one generation to the next.

There was a woman who first walked the Earth, (she may have had sisters,) she obviously had children.

That is irrefutable or women  - the human race - wouldn't be here today. There is no definitive proof of how that came to be but the wonderful stories people tell each other help us understand our beginnings when we have no other explanation.

We don't know what her name was, how it was pronounced, where she was born - we know nothing about her - except that she was the first mother of us all.

Eve is as good a name as any.
