  1. About two should be good one before lunch and one after.

  2. just 1 nap for 2-3 hours.

  3. Most one year olds either have 2 naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, or just one long nap in the afternoon. It varies from child the child, depending on what time they wake up and what their bedtime is.

  4. i would say 2 longish or...

    3 or 4 shorter naps...

afternoon... is a very common nap time...

not too late, prob. like from about 1-2 so they will be tired by night-time...

  5. My daughter is 14 months and she usually only takes 1 two hour nap a day.

  6. I have 2 Daughters they usually have one long nap from 1:00 till 2:30. Try calling caregivers in your area and find out how they use nap time. Good Luck. Make sure that nap time is at the same time everyday when implemented.

  7. if I remember right. .my son would take a couple hour nap in the late morning and then one in the later afternoon.

  8. At 1 year of age our son was a one a day napper. What was nice about that was that he would nap for 3+ hours so I had a good amount of time for housework and time to relax before he woke up. It was also much easier to put him down at a decent hour at night and he slept about 10 hours through the night which left time to get more done and sleep a full night. At 1 year of age you usually get one long nap instead of 2 shorter naps and you just have to modify your schedule around it.

  9. My kid took a two hour nap around 1;30.  My advice if you want your kid to nap you have to make the effort to be home at nap time.  You cannot decide he needs a nap when you have nothing to do but can go without it when it fits your schedule.
