  1. Last i heard it was 300000,its not too bad because most of them are christians so nothings really getting broke.

    .

  2. According to the last census, one in ten people in the Republic of Ireland are non-nationals.

  3. not  enuff,   we  can  ship  about  5000  a  day from here.

  4. Overall Population: 4,062,235 (July 2006 est.)

    Net Migration Rate:

    4.87 migrant(s)/1,000 population (2006 est.)

  5. The Central Statistic Office report on the latest census shows that "Nearly 420,000 (10%) persons who were usual residents of the State in April 2006 indicated that they had a nationality other than Irish. The corresponding figure in 2002 was 224,000 (5.8%)."

  6. I'd say very few based on the religion of Irish citizens.

"Roman Catholic 88.4%, Church of Ireland 3%, other Christian 1.6%, other 1.5%, unspecified 2%, none 3.5% (2002 census)"

Figures tell me that Ireland could have some Euro gypsies but few Muslims.

  7. A good large number I would say, especially compared to the overall population.

Nowadays mainly from eastern europe. Just take the ferry from france to Ireland and you'll see 80% of the cars are from Poland, Romania etc...

It seems like ages since Italians, Spaniards and French were the core of the migrant population here in Dub.

  8. 400,000 10% of the population
