How many o2 sensors does a 1990 buick regal have?

it only has one.  it is located in the exhaust pipe that comes up to attach to the engine.  gm didn't start using 2 sensors on cars until later on.

if it has a single exhaust pipe out the back then it should only have one...but if it is dual exhaust then it should have 2.  if you can look under your car to see if you can follow any wires along the exhaust to the catalytic converter...just make sure the car has had time to cool down before you look...good luck

Could have 1 or 2. Check both of these locations.

Exhaust Manifold on firewall side.

Exhaust pipe after Catalytic Converter.

I don't think they offered dual exhaust. But the # of sensors varies with earlier and later years. I don't have access at the moment that would pin it down for sure. If it has only 1, my guess would be in the manifold.
