personally i think that it honestly depends because i live in new england so, idefinitelyy need more sweaters and long sleeved shirts than someone who lives in florida lol, also depends on how often you go shopping,but i think overall if your shoping for half a year

- tank tops for layering : whatever colors you are lacking: 6

- short sleeved plain/ graphic: 9

- long sleeved: 5

Hoodies

- classic zip up/ pullovers : 3

- cardigans or shrunken sweaters: 4

Jeans

- depends but i go for around: 7 - 8

Shoes

- Sneakers: 2

- Flats: 5

but it could vary, because it also depends how much money you have to spend

if you like something, get it. don't get something you semi-like just because you feel you need a certain # of shirts, etc. because then you'd be wasting your money and the material needed to make the clothing. plus, you're bound to go shopping during the school year, so you can get clothes then too. and you can still wear your old clothes. just mix it up with some new ones and you're good to go.

it really depends what kind of climate you live in but at least 5 jeans maybe 10 long sleeves and 10 short sleeves however many tanks you feel you need because you may not need any at all, shoes as much as you want :) at least black and white flats because they match almost everything hoodies? depends what kind of climate you live in
