Recently I asked a question about the reasons why Mr. McCain "toned" down his convention. One answerer told me to do my research. I've had a computer way before the internet. A Compaq 5.5, green screen, portable (it looked like a Singer sewing machine which was transportable), it weighed almost 29 pounds. There are now numerous search engines that I consider extra ordinary, i.e. Google, Mozilla FireFox, IE, etc.. I utilize them all prior to asking or answering a question or even asking a question. Do you just answer a question, specifically in politics, because of political affiliation, because you're upset with the reasoning of the opposite parties or, because you fail to do your research? Because you may not does this prevent you from looking a the total picture?

  1. nice question Robert.  It all depends on the question.  I treat questions differently.  If I have knowledge of the question i will answer it with no research.  If i have little knowledge of the question i will do research.  If i am clueless of the question I will go to another question.  I really appreciate your question.  I have seen some answers and they look like a second grader answered it and i think to myself how dumb of this person and i chuckle and move on

  2. i do,that is why i'm voting mccain palin! peace!

  3. That person didn't know THEIR facts.  It was a headline on Yahoo news that the GOP would be scaling back the convention because of the hurricane.  That's not a political statement, it's a statement of fact.
