How many of the politicians in the American election actually write their own speeches. ?

My guess is none of them All are so stereo type and all are obviously being read from a leader board. Whats happened to the real orators of the old world like Winston Churchill and yes even Adolf Hitler, both of whom were brilliant speakers

Great Question.  I wish I knew.  It really makes, you wonder who can you trust to do even half of the things, they say they will do.

that is quite sad question, not you just the thought that our politicinas cant even write a speech. But problably none, if not, then 1 0r 2

I'm sure they all have speech writers on staff. Of course, they'll argue they don't have the time to write them.

The real truth is they can't speak without some help, because they are afraid of not being politically correct with all of their comments.

Some politicians give a lot of speeches, especially the ones on the national stage. It's difficult to write them all.

That said, they usually heavily influence the big ones. Reagan used to get ideas from speechwriters, and do a lot of editing himself. Obama I believe wrote the first draft of last week's speech and was heavily involved in the editing process.

I'd put those two up against most in a competition in public speaking. They both are compelling.
