How many of u look nothing like ur icon?- and be HONEST!?

just wondering, b/c they don't have a lot of face choices for making a yahoo avatar.

I look almost identical to my icon, which could be a bad thing I guess, considering I haven't changed that thing in a long long time.

I look a lot like mine... Although I do have smaller eyes... They even had a dog just like my real one as an accessory.... Nobody even knows what a Corgi is, but yahoo let me accessorize with the breed that I really have... How cool is that?

that picture is me. but for my avatar, i somewhat resemble the face. but the clothes.. wish i could wear those. my avatar is s**y and im curvy

Weight and age choices seem to be non-existent, so the only way you could look like your avatar would be for you to be young and thin.

Mine actually comes pretty close to how I have looked at various stages of my life, but looks like it should be of me in my twenties.  

My twenties had me at six feet and anywhere from 140 lbs. to maybe 165 lbs.  I wore a suite like that when I was in my 30's and drove a GoldWing motorcycle through most of my 40's and 50's, dressed pretty much as I appear in my avatar.  (Yes, it did turn not just a few heads, lol.)  However, I have steadily gained weight over the years and now approach 270 lbs.  My hair has gone from Blond to Red to White over a lifetime and I'm getting rather thin on  top.  I have also gone through a number of stages of facial-hair designs -- from full beards like Abe Lincoln had to those more like Santa's beard.  I even looked a lot like Tom Selleck at one time and later amazingly like Kenny Rogers.  Now I don't sport even long sideburns, lol

Many people don't look like their avatar.  I expected that for more than a few reasons, some people have a view of themselves that is so different from the way the rest of the world sees them, and because Yahoo can't possibly post every shape of face with the right eyes and hair styles we'd all like to see available..... but they are working on it.

Since my 'icon' is the 'male face shadow in silhouette' I'd have to say it doesn't look ANYTHING like me ... and I decided against using a 'made up' avatar, because the 'faces' are all too young ... I'm a 'crone' and proud of it ... but I TOTALLY HATE having ANYONE take my picture.  The camera I own is MINE and I take mostly 'flower pictures' with it ...
