  1. I think he will win, but wish that there was a few more weeks gap between these races.  It's not fair to expect horses to run so often it puts a strain on  their hearts and  their legs.

Let him win and come home safely, yes I think he can do it.

  2. i do, i hope that cracked hoof does not bother him

  3. "I love horse racing" - that horse from China is not a rumor - that horse is already there and has been training for this for months...years really!

I think he will win it.  As most others have said, as long as that crack has enough time to heal and doesn't get worse with training in the next 7 days.

I think we might see that final gear he has though, with Casino Drive making him work for this win!!

And that my fellow Horse Racing Fans, should be amazing!!!!

  4. Yes, I think BB will win the Triple Crown.  I think the Brown is a great horse, but a lot of people just don't see it yet.  I hope he will be at the Travers Stakes and later make a run at the Breeder's Cup.  It sure would be nice to see him win against tougher competition (before he goes to stud).

  5. he is no lock, I sure won't be betting him at 1-5 odds.

  6. nope a longshot

  7. 1/2 of me does but the other 1/2 isnt 100% sure rumor has it that they are bringing in a horse from Japan.

  8. Not a chance... honestly i just think we need to get higher competition cuz i don't think he's that good of horse...now watch me eat my foot...

  9. the triple crown is no easy feat......... as history shows, the last crown winner was 30 yrs ago, personally i think you may have to wait at least 1 more year, as i think brown will be beaten by the japanesse raider.........casino drive!

  10. I think Big Brown is unstoppable if his hooves hold up. I am not worried so much that the recently patched quarter crack will blowout but that another more severe split could develop before the finish. Quarter cracks have been a recurring problem for Big Brown and his hooves are going to take the worst pounding ever given the fact that this race will be 12 furlongs and also given the fact that in a recent video Big Brown’s hoof specialist, Ian McKinlay, stated that "the tracks at Belmont have definitely firmed up; I could tell that from the type of injuries I'm getting. When I started at Belmont in 1985, very rarely would you get a wall separation. In the last four or five years, you just get more and more of them. This year, 2008, I'm probably running a 30 percent increase of wall separation." All in all a bit disconcerting I think and no reason to be anything more than a little optimistic about Big Brown's prospects for a win.
